RTB’s service delivery approach is founded on the integration of our clients’ (and, indeed, our own) People, Processes and Systems to ensure that the clients receive an end-end business solution.


PEOPLE

In creating business solutions for clients, we recognise that people’s sensitivity to change can create difficulties. Thus, we work closely with our clients to smooth any transitions by:

  • providing good leadership
  • communicating a vision that is embraced by our clients and aligned to culture
  • ensuring clients’ staff are appropriately empowered

We acknowledge that different clients prefer different ways of interacting with consultants. Therefore, we can work

  • As your partner (with close collaboration)
  • In your place (taking responsibility whilst keeping you informed) or
  • Under your direction (as an extra pair of expert hands)

To deliver our solutions, we have focussed on developing a champion team of consultants, rather than a team of champion consultants. This has evolved as our clients have presented complex issues not readily resolved by a single skill set. We believe that by utilising different skills and attributes, our clients benefit. However, clients can be assured that they will have a single point of contact for all project management.

PROCESSES

Consistent, efficient processes free up people to think, create and improvise. To realize effective process change we examine the effectiveness of existing processes then redesign or replace non-optimal ones. We concentrate on:

  • process ownership, goals, and measures
  • the extent of procedural documentation
  • process integrity across the business and
  • the ability of processes to foster continuous improvement.

SYSTEMS

Systems assist in sustaining business solutions but technology can be overwhelming, given the abundance of technology alternatives and trends. In developing client tools for sustainability, we consistently use Microsoft products (as a Microsoft partner): Office (particularly Access), Visio, Project, SQL Server and Sharepoint.

We have also used Microsoft products to develop robust internal systems to assist us with setting our own direction and in planning, executing, tracking and reviewing our service delivery projects. Furthermore, our own Sharepoint offers our clients online access to up-to-date project information.
