Performance Management
We are particularly passionate about holistic, robust, performance management. We have built many business and operational performance reporting systems that cascade throughout the organizations, incorporating individual performance evaluations. We ensure that these systems are aligned to strategic plans and operational outcomes; provide valuable, accurate reports that clearly identify performance gaps; and intrinsically provide suggestions for remedial actions. We strongly believe that effective performance management requires not only clearly defined KPI’s, accountabilities and responsibilities but a culture of trust and respect and recognition that both strengths and weaknesses exist.
With regard to individual performance evaluations, RTB Solutions has worked hard on a system to reduce the stress that is often present for both of the parties involved. Our performance review involves input from both parties and more “impartial” measures of performance. Our system also provides a method for designing potential resolutions to performance gaps and identifies opportunities for development.

Remuneration Packages
RTB Solutions has been involved in a number of negotiations surrounding remuneration “packages”. We recognize that such packages do not have to simply include cash, car and super but can include work hour flexibility; formal training opportunities; opportunities to obtain new skills in the workplace; opportunities for advancement; or simply adequate “recognition” of contribution. In tailoring such packages as much as possible to the individual, much greater commitment to the organization can be achieved.
In addition to our lateral remuneration package designs, we also provide clients with mathematically based IT models to do “scenario testing” on these designs. By doing so, our clients become very clear on the consequences of altering key reward drivers/inputs and this, in turn, ensures a better solution is developed for all concerned.

Radbe Consulting commissioned RTB to develop innovative reward arrangements to assist them to retain high quality staff whilst still limiting their financial risk exposure. These arrangements needed to accommodate the unique business environment and shareholder goals.
Empowerment & Motivation
Many human resource crises arise from mangers’ poor choice of leadership style. We believe strongly in situational leadership - directing, coaching, supporting and mentoring as the situation and needs of the staff member dictate. In addition, we believe that a manager’s personality and the organisation’s culture have significant impact on staff motivation and commitment.
As such, we offer training and coaching in practical leadership, for managers across all levels of an organisation. We are practitioners (with theoretical knowledge) and thus, our training approach is via a “discovery learning” approach. We do not dictate to our clients but provide them with advice and facilitate application of leadership techniques in their job environments.
